Exploring Ladner

When you visit Ladner Village Market, plan to spend the day here. With so much to do and to see in Ladner and the surrounding area, one brief visit just isn't enough. Here are some ideas to help you plan your outing.

 

In Ladner Village:

  • Kayak the Ladner Marshes or take a boat tour of the Fraser River's main arm
  • Visit the Delta Museum and Archives (5 minute walk from Village Market)
  • Take the kids to Memorial Park public water park and playground (5 minute walk from Village Market)
  • Dine at one of our many fine restaurants; search LBA directory for ideas
  • Be sure to visit the Village Market again because vendors change throughout the summer

Around Ladner:

  • Walk, go birding or picnic at the expansive Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary
  • Golf a round at Cove Links, a challenging executive course
  • Watch river traffic on the Fraser at Deas Island Regional Park
  • Launch your boat at Wellington Point
  • Pick fresh berries on Westham Island
  • Take a driving tour of Delta's rural heritage sites
  • Walk to Brunswick Point
  • Catch a glimpse of Canada's busiest container terminal and coal exporting facility at DeltaPort. Access via DeltaPort Way off Highway 17.

Near Ladner:

  • Take the kids to Splashdown Waterslide Park
  • Visit the Delta Heritage Air Park
  • Cycle from Ladner to White Rock via Boundary Bay dyke; Ladner access at the south end of 64th Street
  • Swim or skimboard at Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen's Boundary Bay Regional Park
  • Walk the Delta Nature Reserve boardwalk on the edge of Burns Bog
  • Golf on a traditional seaside links course at Kings Links
