Tree Lighting, Childrens\' Christmas Parade & Carol Ships

2009 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

48th Avenue & Delta Street

Listen to Carolers sing at the 32th Annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and Carol Ships. The tree will be lit up at the corner of 48th Avenue and Delta Street at 7:25p.m. Stay to watch the Children's Christmas Parade.

2009 Children's Christmas Parade
Friday, December 4, 2009 7:30 p.m.
48th Avenue (from Elliott to Delta Street) and
Delta Street (from 48th Avenue to Chisholm Street)

Children of all ages are welcome to participate in the Children's Christmas Parade by decorating their bikes, strollers, wagons or any other non-motor vehicle. Watch the parade on 48th Avenue and Delta Street.

To Participate Register at the Parade: 7:15 p.m.
Meeting Place: off 48th Avenue (in front of Johnny's Market.)

Make Victorian Christmas crafts at the Delta Museum.

Don’t forget to watch the Carol Ships on Government Wharf
at the end of Elliott Street
on Friday at 7:45pm and Saturday at 7:30pm.
