Ladner is being discovered by shoppers who want selection, service, and personal contact with owners. To ensure that we create the right atmosphere for these customers, we need plans and ideas from as many people as possible. You can learn more about the LBA's purpose at http://www.ladnerbusiness.com/menu_detail.php?menu_id=21 . Together our membership does a number of things to benefit business and the community of Ladner. You may have heard of the Breakfast with Santa and Tree Lighting, the Pumpkin'fest, or the Easter Parade & Egg Hunt. These are all LBA events. You may have heard we have a Ladner Harbour Focus Group putting together plans and ideas to share a vision of development for the harbour and town core. You may have heard of some networking events like the upcoming Pasta & Wine Event at Marco's or the annual summer barbeque at Kirkland House. You may already have your tickets to the business enhancement workshop in March 2009 called "How to Recession Proof Your Small Business with Roy Prevost". These are just some of the things the Ladner Business Association does.

The LBA meets weekly on Thursday mornings at The Royal Canadian Legion Delta Branch 61 in Ladner. 8 am to 9 am. Members are invited, but attendance is not required. In fact, of 120 members, on average there are probably 30-45 in attendance. The meetings are very informative with news from various members of the community about the community, along with other hilights such as guest speakers.

We appreciate your input! Working together, we can have a positive effect on out business community which, in turn, will affect the entire community of Ladner. If you want to make a difference....JOIN WITH US
